Creativity
Business Professional of America (BPA) - Pitch
Learning outcomes:
1. Challenge skills
2. Initiative/ planning
3.Collaboration
For BPA we needed to create a pitch and present it to all my classmates in the honor society. So we got into groups. Once i was with my group, we started to see what business we could pitch to the class and we needed creativity to do that. So we started to see what problems or complaints were voiced by students. So we came up with breakfast in school, we then needed to plan how we were going to do this, how we were going to market it what will be the expected revenue . This requieres skills from business class, although we haven't seen it work in real life so we had a challenging situation there so we had to apply skills and concepts to breakfast in school business. We also had to collaborate together so we could agree in what to do and how to present it. We had a lot of disagreements because I thought that it would be too complicated to go to really early and start to cook and then but everything away before homeroom, so at the end we figured it out and made two proposals and I made an entirely different proposal myself and also participated in the breakfast in school presentation. So then for the presentation we collaborated to divide the slides and then present.

El Oráculo article
Learning outcomes:
1. Challenge and skills
2. Collaboration
3. Ethical Choices and actions
So for the spanish newspaper "El Oráculo" I needed to do an article before the prom trip. It was more of a joke article but still including journalist skills. So I decided to team up with another friend to do this article. Therefore, we needed to collaborate together in order to know what things to include. So we discussed our predictions for the prom tip (that was what the article is about) and then separated them each person did half of the predictions. Then we got together reviewed them and edited some of them, so we collaborated. A challenge that rose what that we didn't know if it was ethical to put some of the predictions because it may bother someone and be considered as bullying. So what we decided to avoid any ethical and moral problems is that we went and talked to the person that the prediction was about. After that we edited some parts out so that the person could agree with the prediction and posted it on the newspaper page.
